Hello!
I am new to this mailing list and want to introduce myself:
My name is Arno Willig, I study computer science and biology in Germany.
I have got a problem with systrace, can anybody help?
I tried systrace on my Debian system, but it only works as root.
I changed the privs for the /dev/systrace device like this:
crw-rw---- 1 root systrace 10, 226 2004-09-12 20:23 /dev/systrace
When I try to start it as normal user (which is in group systrace) I get
this:
~$ systrace ls
systrace: attach: Operation not permitted
What is the problem?
Do I have to set /usr/bin/systrace SUID root???
I use the Debian systrace, Version 20040126-4 on Sid, Kernel
2.6.9-rc1-mm4.
Regards,
Arno
