config.h conflicts with evconfig.h:

Perhaps only the part of config.h that is needed - the uint8 defines and
so, without the _HAVE_.. and PACKAGE_ defines could be put in evconfig.h?

Or perhaps give an option to disable inclusion of evconfig.h, change
event.h to have these lines?

#include <evconfig.h>
#endif

How did those other large projects that were alluded to solve this?
