[Libevent-users] Regular timed events

Hi all,

I just started looking at libevent, and it seems to be mostly what I am 
looking for. There is one thing that seems to be missing, and I'd like 
to verify whether I am just missing something.

There doesn't seem to be any support for regular timed events. One of 
the examples seems to confirm this, as it simulates a regular timed 
event by repeatedly starting new ones. That will suffer timing creep, 
though. For something like VoIP I need genuinely regular events.
