There's a lot of jazz guitar like Pete's, but this guitar goes nowhere (not like Pete's numerous brilliant guitar passages).  It's what I hate most about jazz in general. Pankow is a completely different ballgame.  It's really nothing like Conjoint.  Pankow is more like standard Move D stuff we all know & love. It's ok but it just doesn't rise to Move D heights IMO.  In Conjoint I think Move D is relegate to providing the underlying rhythm/beats. So, if you like Pankow you may not like Conjoint.  If you like Pankow, Move D and random west coast jazz then you may indeed like Conjoint. I'd almost say Conjoint isn't even electronica!  It belongs in the jazz section! Note: Both albums suffer from the doesn't-really-go-anywhere syndrome, but Pankow handles it in a more ambient / electronica way in that it isn't really trying to go anywhere or have much melody, whereas Conjoint is trying to do so but does it in the horribly annoying random jazz way. I hope I was able to get that out in a coherent manner.  YMMV, as it seems Conjoint has many fans on this list.
