I can't hardly compare Silk with Montage + Sphäre. I like the Raumland
series very much as well, but Silk is made so much different. To me part
1+2 is one piece and part 3+4 another. The whole sphere through all the
tracks is amazing and pretty environmental. However i was expecting to
hear some IF-ish environmental sounds/percussions in the second part of
the album cause the 'arabian' theme. Still the environment is something
you can dive into.
Trevor, what do you think of the rhythm in silk part 1 and 2? Especially
the rhythm in part 2 cought my attention, wonderful bass working.
And yes, lot listenings needed for sure.
