I've had Sultan for some time, and recently acquired Sultan Orhan, and
wow! this is a great successor to Sultan! I have both on my pc, set up
as a playlist with both albums back to back. Drive my flatmate nuts
(cause he doesn't like the arabic/middle eastern stylings)...

However, I am curious - how did such a diverse collaboration come
about? I know Namlook had dabbled in ethnic-orientated music with Air &
Air 2, but this is something more focused and definitely not your
run-of-the-mill namlook electronica/ambient/synth noodling as on many
other albums. So what is the origin of Sultan and Sultan Orhan?
