Just for fun, I may start posting short reviews here periodically of various Fax CDs as I pull them out to play. I wish more of us would do that, because I enjoy reading about specific individual experiences people have with Fax. It really is fascinating to me to keep rediscovering things. Yesterday I played Anthony Rother's Magic Diner while working at my computer. And I found it utterly entrancing. It had a nice organic flow, the wordless female vocals were very serene, and there were very few of the jarring moments that sometimes detract from my pleasure with some Fax discs. I just thoroughly enjoyed this CD, and I get the impression it's an underrated disc.
