Heh, goes to show one of the interesting traits of FAX: no matter how
much one of us hates an album, *someone* on this list will like it! Even
NOL had a couple of devotees the last time this discussion came up! If
NOL can have big fans then anything's possible.

Likewise, there are no universally loved releases. No matter how much
everyone loves, say, Zenith, there's always some who say it bores them.

But it is fun saying "I dislike X" and someone saying "but I love it,
and it's really good at track X", and then using that as an excuse to go
back for another listen. Just like I did with Outland 1-4 yesterday and
today.

Speaking of Outland, after a straight-through listen of 1-4, I can
honestly say that I still think it's one of the most boring 4+ album
series. There were maybe 2 2-minute parts where it started to interest
me, but it wasn't enough. Strangely, the parts with Laswell's bass
actually are some of the only parts that do it for me! It's the Laswell
droney darkness that kind of grates. Oh ya, some of the PK ambient bits
are ok too. And even though the song isn't too exciting, Keeper gets
points for the wonderful TD-tribute name.

'Nuff said!
