(fax) (was burned Fax on ebay) Bootlegs

I have mixed feelings about bootlegs in general. Certainly the ebay auction 
in question is not appropriate, however there are legitimate reasons to have 
bootlegs in my opinion. Take for instance an album released in a quantity of 
100 copies. Certainly a bootleg for those who truly appreciate the music can 
be gratifying. Even one up on that idea, is a bootleg of unreleased music, 
such as KLF "Made @ 3 AM Coming Down Off E".

Surely most artists are dissatisfied with bootlegs, and typically with good 
reason. However, having music which is not readily available, I feel is 
warranted to some degree. Now, making money off bootlegs is a no no, as 
stealing music to remunerate, does not sit well.

The idea of hunting for music is sometimes frustrating,
and typically rewarding when you actually find what you
are looking for. What happens when the music is no where
to be found, such as "Paino Room" from Muslimgauze.

Now I know some people will disagree with me, and find
any form of bootleg to be unwarranted, and not to be
apart of their collection. Is it possible that missing
out on music be counter productive to fans?

Music is meant to be shared, not concealed in secrecy.
