will vouch for his report on this Markick dude.  Jeff is THE best
ambient/idm/indie merchant on eBay whose ethics and performance are
flawless.

Because I know some of the listmembers here sell FAX on eBay, I wanted
to make this public service announcement - this creep targets FAX and
FAX type items in particular. I apologize to those who hate eBay in
general and otherwise have no sympathy for the expediture of bandwidth
for this. I hope you accept this in the spirit it was sent - to save
others some grief.

He's been busy commiting postal fraud and ripping off all kinds of
people on 
eBay using different IDs (minimal02 and menachem303 are the latest).
He goes after idm and classic ambient styled stuff, so if you're a
seller, be 
wise and block him. He uses a bogus hotmail account as well ("james
johnson").
He claims credit card fraud and gets paypal to reverse payments after he
has the 
stuff (usually after the seller has left feedback)- sometimes for a
change of 
pace he claims non-delivery of items.
Be suspicious of any Oak Park, MI. addresses.
Normally I would never post something like this on-list, but this creep
needs to 
be stopped. Please alert anyone who might be vulnerable and is not on
the list.
