hi folks,

that is the german phrase for something extremely normal, boring, or missing
originality. browsing the german wikipedia unearthed that its source lies in
a machine gun, used mainly in the first world war. the type mg 08, modified
in 1915 (hence 08/15) was so common that the soldiers got so bored during
the weapon instructions always hearing "08-15" that this phrase entered the
german language. strange, isn't it , is it?
