This statement I will vehemently disagree with.

DSOTM 9
Psychonavigation 5
Silence 5
Syn 2
Namlook 19
Wired
Fires of Ork 2
Virtual Vices 2
and
Possible Gardens

were all released betwen 2000-2004 and are all quite good IMO.

I will agree however, that the hit:miss ratio has been steadily climbing in
recent years.

I think what disappointed me the most about the two newest releases was
missing the potential that they had to live up to. DOSTM was coming off
possibly the single greatest FAX album released (again IMO) and the follow up
is pretty much a joke in every way. It even ends as if they blew a fuse and
the equipment all just shut down.

With respect to Koolfang...while I haven't listened to 1&2 lately I recall
enjoying them, so again just a real sense of disappointment with the quality.

There is a lot of "crappy" electronic music out there and I, for one, never
expected FAX to fall into that category, ever.
