(fax) Ambiant Otaku - Lullaby Music

yep, The Pearl is what I used too, no kidding. That works with newborns (and
wife). Before birth you need lo-herz droners that can make it trough the
liquids ... Thomas Koner is the ticket - or just you and your wife humming
together will also work. At the age of two, you will need to go for beats
and you soon will discover that the most commercial silly tunes work best.
My number one with 124 spins so far is this one:
http://www.discogs.com/release/322579 followed by Faithless (many to choose
from there). At the age of six you'll get requests for "massage music," i.e.
drones or beats that make it through the backseat of your car into the
spines of your kiddos. You now can choose from a wide variety of music, as
long as it is has bass and is played very loud (buy a sub, kids like a dad
with a sub in his trunk!). You also will find yourself in conflict with your
wife turning the knob to the left and you and the kids going for the right,
clockwise that is. Finally, never ever install a children CD in your car (I
mean like Schnappie or some mama telling stories about the Wolf and the
seven pigs or so) - say it does not fit your system! If you ignore this
advice, well ..., you'll find out what happens. Good luck!
