"Eraserhead" soundtrack by David Lynch & Alan Splett
"Baikal Ice" by Peter Cusack
almost any Javanese/Balinese Gamelan record..especially the ones on Nonesuch

just a few suggestions  ; )  based on experiments with tots of friends..they 
seem to like all of these well enough
