(fax) Why Namlook will never join this list...

The magic isn't gone, at least for me. However, I've noticed a general
disintegration in mailing lists lately. The Orb list, the FAX list, the
Vangelis list, even the BBEdit (software) list -- have ALL taken a rather
strange and sad turn.

Lately, it seems that strong opinions are more important than facts, and
soap boxes are getting higher and higher. People are fighting a lot more
about things further and further removed from the topic at hand.

The point of a mailing list about a subject is to discuss the unifying theme
bringing us together -- the SUBJECT of the mailing list -- not to provide a
soapbox. That's why we're here, isn't it? Because we all love FAX?

I for one am looking forward to the new releases. I hope 2005 brings more
FAX than 2004 did... And that PK has a prolific year.
