wow there's really been some big assumptions lately about what
the likes of KS and PK mean/think. My own take on all of this
is that:

1. Quite a lot of what is 'discussed' these days on the faxlist
is twaddle & very possibly would be of limited interest to Fax.

2. However, it's also worth bearing in mind that the 2350 site
(of which this list is an offshoot) has historically been
instrumental in spreading the word about Fax music over the
years but, far more so in the late 90's than it is today.
The reason for this (albeit now waning) influence has to be,
in no small part, down to the huge archive of reviews. It is
also my recollection that, during the list heyday, discussion
was predominantly about the music itself and not endless
peripheral, picky & personal stuff.

Incidentally, PK has on several occasions in the past (albeit
indirectly through key members) solicited opinion about specific
matters... can't see him doing that in the future... not unless
the mean average intellect of the list is somehow, miraculously,
raised.

Personally I have stuck with the list through thick and thin for
what I guess is about 8 years (albeit generally as a lurker
these days) but, hardly ever read anything now which interests
me. Keep wondering if the state of the list somehow reflects the
state of Fax... has the magic gone?
